2005 Boys Lacrosse Preview

Head Coach: Chuck Apel, 26th year - (2004 record: 10-10)

Attack: Nick Federici Jr;, Dave Wilkinson Sr; Kevin Anderson So; Midfield: Chris Jones Jr; Mike Stanzack Sr; Steve Golmont So; Mike Gillespie Sr; Defense: Brian Pauli Sr; Dan Carpinello Sr; Chris Derrico Jr; Mike Randal So; Goalie: Sean Scannell Sr; Patrick Meany So.

Outlook: Tri-captains Ken Imbesi, Megan Fenton and Kaitlin Hoy will lead a Panther squad that last year made it all the way to the North A final but fell to Mendham 12-11. DeBonis says that although it is a young squad, everyone is working hard and learning quickly. Bridgewater-Raritan's strength will be its midfield, with Fenton hoping to duplicate last season's 27 goals. DeBonis also is looking for offensive contributions from junior Krista Fieselmann and Caitlin Rotella. Imbesi will be between the pipes as the Panthers look to make it back to the Somerset County finals, where they lost to Ridge 9-8 last year. Bridgewater-Raritan opens its season Friday against East Brunswick.
